EKS Goggles Outstanding Performance!
EKS Goggles
Having just completed an OTMX race and also returning from a week long ride in Baja, I just looked closely at my equipment.
I realized how often we take our vision and protection of that vision for granted. Especially as I get longer in the tooth and the vision is not what it once was.
I have a few different brands of goggles I sometimes go between, but just noticed how often I have been grabbing my favorite pair. My EKS Brand goggles! The reason being, is that I seem to never have any kind of issue when I use them. It doesn’t matter if I am racing an OTMX, riding trails in Idaho or desert riding in Baja. They always seem to protect these old eyes, never seem to fog even when slow going and working hard in difficult sections. Whether it is boulder fields in Baja or extremely tight trails in Idaho. I seem to get away with keeping my goggles on when all the other guys are taking theirs off because they are fogging and have difficulty seeing.
As I recall this past week long trip to Baja I felt sweat on my face but never removed the goggles. I could wait until we hit easier sections and just lifted the corner to speed up the drying of the foam on my face, Perfect! I never fogged and could always see and had protection.
The final realization now is that I never fidgeted with them as they were comfortable all week long, the same pair.
I have several different color combos and they all look great as I mix and match. The life of the EKS goggles has been outstanding. I would have to give these babies 2 Thumbs up!
