Atlas Presents - Jason Anderson / Brace For Impact

This shows why neck braces are important!

At Atlas, we recognize that injuries are part of extreme sports, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn't try to prevent them. Everyday we aim to push our neck braces further, to not only find new ways to help prevent cervical spine injuries, but to also help reduce the possibility of secondary injuries. We continue to develop our line of neck braces with both scenarios in mind.

Atlas Athlete Jason Anderson is no stranger to close calls. His free flowing riding style, and race winning speed create plenty of opportunity for sketchy moments on the track. He also recognizes the importance of staying healthy, and injury free.

“Our sport is dangerous enough, if you could wear something that improves your safety, go for it. There’s a lot of injuries you can avoid by wearing one” - Said Jason Anderson

Jason has been a believer in neck braces since the beginning, and continues to put his trust in Atlas.

“Watching Jason get landed on during the MXON was a scary moment! It just goes to show that sometimes you don’t even need to crash to risk injury, and it’s a constant reminder that anything can happen, at any time.” - Said Brady Sheren, CEO of Atlas

January 11, 2017- San Diego, CA- Rockwell / Nuclear Blast / PHNX Racing has joined forces with Motool and will be exclusively using the new Slacker V2 digital sag scale for bike setup. The ease, accuracy and speed of the tool made this relationship a no-brainer for the team.
This is PHNX Racing’s first year but they are showing great maturity in their ability to field top riders like Zac Commans and Trevor Reis. Owner Ryan Clark has great vision for this team as well as the sport and embraces new technologies like the Slacker digital sag scale as a way to make the team more competitive and efficient and give them more time to focus on the big picture- winning races. With Slacker, their bike setup is always on point and consistent. The new Slacker V2 features a host of new features and hardware updates. It now has a great Auto Zero feature which allows you to take measurements without a stand by placing it in the Auto Zero mode and simply lifting the bike. It is also more accurate than when using a stand to unload the suspension. There are many hardware upgrades
as well including the new, more supple retractable cable material, new magnet to accommodate axle inserts for Ti and oversize axles and fresh new look. The new Slacker V2 is being produced at a new production plant and is even better quality than the originals, the action is super smooth and these are even more accurate when using the Auto Zero mode.

Santa Says For More Power Call Eric Gorr

Santa says, if you want to make your 2 stroke run better call Eric. Do you have a vintage bike in need of engine work call Eric. Would you like more power, perhaps a big bore kit that works call Eric. We have had Eric help us with several YZ hop ups and we are always super satisified with his work. We think the last 295 kit we got from Eric is the perfect 2 stroke motor.

I’m Eric Gorr and I’ve specialized in performance engine rebuilding since 1976 when I founded my business. My performance rebuilt engines have won World and National Championships in the motorsports of Motorcycling (MX, Hare Scrambles, Dirt track, Road Racing and Trials) Snowmobiling, Karting, and Formula Auto, (2&4-Stroke).  I love dirt bikes and specialize in late model and vintage 2-stroke dirt bike engines made in Japan and Europe and I have all the special factory tools to do the job right the first time. For late model bikes (1995 and newer) I offer comprehensive engine rebuilds featuring HOT RODS BOTTOM END REBUILD kits and your choice of Vertex, Wiseco, or Pro-X piston kits and offer all-inclusive package deals and the model application and price chart is listed below.

For bikes made in 1994 or earlier it’s a little more complicated because the Japanese and European manufacturers are discontinuing parts for these bikes and some manufacturers are out of business entirely. The recent earthquake in Japan and the Fukushima nuclear crisis destroyed a lot of infrastructure and tooling as well as vendor’s businesses. That natural disaster affected mostly Honda and Suzuki parts. There are aftermarket and new old stock parts available for more expensive prices and that’s why I don’t offer all-inclusive prices on those models. If you have the time and patience to work Ebay and NOS stock that’s cool if you supply your own parts, I’m not one of those guys who gets pissed off if you supply parts and I think you’ll understand that I won’t guaranty the quality of antique parts. I’ll work with you on any vintage project because I know this stuff really well and I raced mx, dirt track, trials, and road race since 1971. I’m also a best-selling award winning writer of 6 motorcycle books and have an amazing collection of technical history from living and departed tuners, factory directed mods, and interviews with thousands of enthusiasts. I was born in 1957 and I’m part of the “On Any Sunday Generation” so I GET IT!

Unlike most of my competitors I offer you the opportunity to supply your own parts because I know that vintage guys hoard parts and have connections from social networking forums as well as sponsorships from dealers and manufacturers.  So you’re welcome to supply your own parts and I’ll even give you an itemized list of what you’ll need after I disassemble the engine.
