Unless you are really paying attention most people can't understand how steep those hills those guys are climbing really are! They are sitting on the back of the seat and almost unicycling the bike up the hill.
Watch and listen a second time and you will hear and see how the REALLY good guys pull one steady throttle pull all the way up. As opposed to the constant on and off throttle jockeys, who by the way also make it just not as smoothly.
All those guys are getting up a hill most of us would be pushing up!!!
